HOW TO LEAD WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN CHARGE | Book Review

Leveraging Influence When You Lack Authority

On a recent road trip, I channelled my best Clay Scroggins audio voice to read his new book HOW TO LEAD WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN CHARGE – Leveraging Influence When You Lack Authority. It’s not often Carl will let me read aloud in the car. He and I were both fully engaged by Clay’s content. Even before we arrived at the end of the book, Carl and I had both decided we are going to take both of our teams though Clay’s book this fall. Read my full review below.

We all answer to someone, c-suite, entrepreneur, vp, director, manager, or entry level employee. Long term success mandates that we learn how to leverage influence when we lack authority.

In How to Lead When You’re Not in Charge, Clay Scroggins humbly shares some of his missteps, as an up and coming leader. Clay masterfully helped me see some of my own personal pain points and practical strategies for personal growth. He unpacks four actionable concepts that will help you leverage your influence: Lead Me, Choose Positivity, Think Critically, and Reject Passivity.

My husband, Carl, and I both will be leading our entire teams through How to Lead When You’re Not in Charge. How to Lead When You’re Not in Charge has already found a permanent home on our bookshelf next to John Maxwell’s 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership.

Friends, order Clay’s book and…

Keep taking the next right step,
